Managing files on your player

When you connect an MP3 player, it appears in the source list and the iTunes window shows its contents.

To remove a song from the player, select it, then press Delete.

Other features, such as folder naming and formatting memory cards, depend on your player. Buttons for these may appear in the bottom-right of the iTunes window. For help with a button in Mac OS 9, choose Show Balloons from the Help menu, then point to the buttons.

Click the Options button in the upper-right corner of the iTunes window to see what other settings may be available for the device you're using.
